The customer reviews at Amazon greatly influence my decision to buy or not to buy a product. This Presto Pressure cooker had excellent reviews and I was not disappointed when I used this device. This cooker is everything the reviews say it is.

Very good pressure cooker. Easy to clean because it is stainless steel.
I had an aluminum one for many years and recently read that cooking in aluminum is bad for your health, I wonder just how much damage I have done! Go for stainless steel!

I had never used a pressure cooker before but it was easy and cooking time of course was shorter.

I have had a 4 quart Presto stainless steel pressure cooker for 28 years and it is still going strong. I decided I needed a 6 quart for larger meals. Naturally, I bought another Presto.
