Bulky but OK September 19, 2008
An engineering marvel, flips four wheels for beginner skaters. VERY heavy shoe (~2 lbs each), not exactly good for walking with the wheels pulled.

The shoe is too heavy for a skate. Shoe should be light for children to be able to skate/walk with it.

My son was happy, just got them today. The wheels on one of them dont stay up. I am upset because they are NOT skid-free! It would have been nice to know that..thank u

One shoe works really well, the wheels open and close no problem.
The other shoe the wheel opens fine but it takes a lot of playing around with it to close. If it wasn't so much for shipping I'd send it back for a replacement. For now I guess I'm stuck with them.

On day one my son had problems balancing, however he used any available adult to walk him around the house just to balance himself. By day two he was gliding a little on his own. On day three I was most impressed he had it! Now I have to beg him to take them off!!
