It arrived on time, however, the superman "S" on the seat was backwards, the the back breaks did not work properly and did not even touch the tire, and the front rim was bent.
Early stage Bike not for beginners August 3, 2008
We bought this bike for our 4yr old son. It looks great and is very easy to assemble. But like the hero it was created after, it is made of SOLID STEEL. You might think this is a great thing but I don't. The solid steel frame makes for an extremely heavy bike. This make peddeling this model a problem for young riders. My son is very tall for his age and probably stronger then most but still had a tough time with this monster. Although I adjusted them several times, the wheels do not roll with a smooth fluid motion. I don't advocate paying huge prices for a luxury style model bike for kids who will outgrow them in what seems likes minutes after leaving the store. But this inexpensive model may leave your youngster feeling like riding a bike is not for him. My son tossed this model aside in no time and headed for his scooter faster then a speeding bullet. [Now where have I heard that before :)] Training wheels only add to the problem on this model so I'd try another. As I said, this model looks GREAT but is not worth even the inexpensive price.
 wheels wobble January 20, 2008
My mother-in-law shipped this to my house for my 4 year olds birthday. The bike was easy to assemble. The problem I had was with the wheels. Both wheels wobbled really bad after assembling and filling with air. I ended up going to the local bike shop to have the wheels trued. The are much better now but still have a slight wobble. Also had to take apart and grease the bearings where the handle bar slides in. The handle bars had rough rotation and where very hard to turn. I don't think the quality is there. Son was very excited to see the bike. Will have to see how it holds up. Next bike will be purchased from the local bike shop

Received the product well packaged, spent about an hour to assemble and voila, my 3-yr old son started riding it right away. It's been about a month and he's having fun.
